We really enjoyed our time at Halls Gap Zoo. I went to Dubbo zoo a month earlier and I would recommend this one instead. An amazing location next to the Grampians park, great animal viewing with adorable tiny monkeys as well as the animal experiences available – we did two. As a suggestion, it would be great if they had a small eatery/cafe so that we could order lunch halfway through our big day at the zoo. Food was available but it was a bit limited to kiosk style items.

It’s been 9 years since I’d been but went today and had a great time. I would love to see a cafeteria open up there! It would make it an enjoyable place to spend the whole day and not limited to a couple of hours.

My daughter decided to go to this zoo for her 12th birthday yesterday. We had a 5hr round trip to get there and would do it all over again today. The staff where extremely friendly and very knowledgeable when our daughter and three of her friends did the Rhino encounter together as were all the staff. It is a very hands on zoo and for that reason we are coming back with friends from interstate next month. I highly recommend this zoo.

Wonderful place with dedicated and knowledgeable staff. Treat yourself to at least one animal encounter, it is well worth it. The Red Pandas are awesome!

My first time yesterday 2nd of august 2022 . It was amazing , was blown away with how many animals and how the majority of them were out and active considering it was cool weather wise . The staff that we accounted on our way around the zoo well lovely and very polite . I can not wait to come to back and have an encounter with either the red pandas , dingos or the meerkat. Thank you for keeping an amazing zoo xx
