Animal Encounters

• Online bookings need to be made 24 hours in advance, for today’s availability please contact the zoo on 03 5356 4668
• Animal encounters may have age limits, see each encounter for specific details
• Price of encounters does not include general admission
• All encounters are subject to availability.
• All participants must follow all instructions given by Halls Gap Zoo staff, failure to do so may result in a shortened session.
• Participants may be asked to cease the encounter at any time for whatever reason at Zoo staff’s discretion.
• Animals respond in different ways to different people and external factors; we cannot control this and experiences may vary.

Entry Tickets

If you have purchased your ticket online, please present your order ID number or other proof of purchase and a form of identification upon entry.

Discounts

1. Only Australian Concession Cards that are listed below and they must be shown to receive concession rate:

• Pensioner
• Disability
• Healthcare
• Seniors
• DVA Gold Cards and Students
• Companion cards – holder pays concession rate and companion is free.

2. No discounts or concessions are available in conjunction with any other offer.

Refunds

• Refunds for animal encounters will not be given if cancellation is within 48 hours of the day of encounter with no exceptions.

• A cancellation for encounters with more than 48 notice from the day of encounter, the options are rescheduling, within three years from the original date of booking, or a refund less a $15 admin fee.

• Refunds for entry tickets will incur a $15 administration fee.
