Get up close and personal with our delightful Meerkats. You will have the opportunity to feed these wonderful creatures as they clamber and climb all over you to eat their meal.

- Online bookings need to be made 24 hours in advance, for today’s availability please contact the zoo on 03 5356 4668
- Minimum 9 years of age.
- Price does not include general admission but includes photos that we will email to you.
- All encounters are subject to availability.
- All participants must follow all instructions given by Halls Gap Zoo staff, failure to do so may result in a shortened session.
- Participants may be asked to cease the encounter at any time for whatever reason at Zoo staff’s discretion.
- Animals respond in different ways to different people and external factors, we cannot control this and experiences may vary.

We absolutely had an amazing time feeding these gorgeous Meerkats! We waited til our youngest was old enough to enjoy the Encounter and was well worth the wait. Wish we could give it 100 stars!!! Photos that the zoo provide are a lovely addition to this wonderful activity. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT 😀

Great experience! Took us into the enclosure in our seperate booking groups to get great photos, great amount of time in the enclosure and photos sent through same day. Very happy with the whole thing!
